Mesquite Bookkeeping is a full range of accounting services to businesses of varying types and sizes. Our clients represent all sectors of the economy and run the gamut from independent contractors and small sole proprietorships to partnerships, LLCs and S corporations.

    TINA M. DUNN QuickBooks ProAdvisor - President

    Tina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of California, Fullerton. She began her accounting career as an accounting associate for several prestigious CPA firms in Orange County and then served for 10 years as the Corporate Controller for Banana Boat of California until it was acquired in 2004. Since 2004, she has worked as an independent contract CFO for several privately owned companies. Tina is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is proficient in both SAGE MAS 200 and Microsoft Dynamics. She is married, has two children and two grandchildren. She loves to travel, camp and spend time with family.

    Jacob Dunn Accounting Manager

    Jacob has a Bachelor's degree from California State University San Marcos. He has worked in public accounting for over 10 years. He has advised many start-up companies to insure they are correctly set up to maximize tax savings. He has experience working in a variety industries such as solar, construction, retail, ecommerce, and service. His working knowledge of QuickBooks, taxes and generally accepted accounting principles. He is currently studying for his Enrolled Agents License. He married and has two children. He enjoys mountain biking, off roading and watersports.

    Valarie Thompson Senior Accountant

    Valerie has a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University. She has over 15 years of experience in the Accounting Field. She has worked in all areas accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial reporting, Payroll, and Business administration. She has worked with Tina since 2017. Clients admire her customer service, reliability and helpful nature. Valerie is married with 4 kids. Her interests include boating, camping and off-roading with her family on the weekends.

    Sean Keating Staff Accountant

    Sean started working for the firm as an intern from University of Nevada Las Vegas. He received his Bachelors degree in 2019 and was hired . He has experience working on small to large companies, from start up to monthly financials. Originally from Southern California, Sean has lived in Las Vegas for over 10 years. He loves to travel, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

    Jamie Morrison Accounting Associate

    Jamie is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. She worked as a bookkeeper for Pacific Homeworker, Inc. In this capacity, she performed all company accounting functions including booking transactions, reconciling statements, making deposits, managing payroll and preparing customer invoices. Her hard working and detail oriented personality make her a great asset to the staff.
